Dr. Suchismita [Suchi] Datta, MD is an Assistant Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Emergency Medicine at NYU Grossman Long Island Hospital. Aside from providing stellar patient care, Suchi has a big interest in medical education innovation and research, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Healthcare Professions Education from University of Maastricht School of Health Professions Education at the NYU campus. 

She is also very interested in gender equity in medicine and has been on the SGEM discussing the topic. This was an SGEM Xtra called From EBM to FBM – Gender Equity in the House of Medicine.

When she’s not talking nerdy or taking care of patients, Suchi can be found chasing after her two young children or/and enjoying a glass of wine with her best friend and husband, Neil.
