The goal of the Skeptics’ Guide to Emergency Medicine (SGEM) is to cut the knowledge translation (KT) window from over ten years to less than one year. It does this by conducting a structured critical review on a recent publication. A guest skeptic is invited onto the show to discuss the publication. These reviews are then disseminated every week using a blog and podcast.

There are additional resources available to SGEM followers. These include other #FOAMed sites, Podcasts, Blogs, EBM websites and the SGEM Book Club.
